Role: Cognos Developer

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Work Location: 6 Months (extension possible)

Interview: Phone/ Skype

Years of Experience: 8+

Note: We need Photo visa copy (H1b)

 

Required Experience and Technical Skills:

Skillset – Cognos as primary skill, Oracle PL/SQL and Informatica as secondary skills

Role Description:

The resource should have minimum of 6-8 years of relevant IT experience in Cognos, Oracle PL/SQL and Informatica as secondary skill and should play onsite lead role.
? Hands-on experience in Data modeling, Technical design & specifications and projects implementation in project with technologies as Cognos, Oracle PL/SQL and Informatica.
? Participate in Requirement Analysis
? Work with Architects team on Architecture and Design
? Create Detailed Design Documents and Program Specs
? Environment set up
? Code framework components
? Resolve design issues
? Provide technical assistance to developers
? Participate in design reviews and conduct code reviews
? Setup of deliverables in ST/UAT environment.
? Good experience on Oracle PL/SQL and Informatica (including Control M scheduling and PowerExchange)
? Proven ability to lead a team of engineers
? Analytical and problem solving skills, applied to Cognos
? Proven ability to manage communications with stakeholders including Clients SMEs
? Propose best practices/standards
