Linux Administrator

Responsibilities: 
 

This resource will be responsible for the start-up of Linux servers that have SAN array dependencies. This Administrator resource must have a deep understanding of Disk Signatures and Cluster moves. Consultant must have day to day, hands on Linux operating system experience in a large enterprise (datacenter) environment. Will be responsible for the install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.

 

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Linux Administration experience
• Strong Linux skills (Red Hat, SuSE)
• Bash scripting
• Linux troubleshooting
• Tcp/ip and Bind knowledge
• HPC Software a plus
• GPFS – HPC shared file system a plus
• Python scripting
