Position: DSP Engineer - Analog
Location: St Paul, MN
Duration: 6 Months+
Desired skills and responsibilities:
- Microcontroller/Microprocessor/DSP and analog design experience
- ADC, DAC, Op-Amp based circuits - amplifiers, comparators, filters and similar signal conditioning circuits for different types of analog sensors, Isolation techniques
- Power supply design - AC/DC, DC/DC, Planner Transformer design,
- Worst case analysis/simulation
- Experience resolving EMC/EMI validation issues
- PCB layout knowledge for analog design
- DFMEA
- Experience leading/directing other HW engineers
- 8+ Years of experience in HW Designing
- Aware of design process
- Extensive experience in Digital Signal processors based analog designs
- Experience in analog design with OPAMPs, ADC, DAC
- Experience in Power supply design
- Experience design analysis - worst case analysis/Simulations, DFMEA
- Experience in EMI/EMC testing and issue resolution
- Communication should be good
- Study of requriement document, existing designs documents - schematics, design documents, PCB Layout
- Hardware architecture design and analysis
- Select components and create designs and design documents
- Perform Design analysis, performance analysis and simulations
- Schematic Drawing creation
- Guiding PCB Layout engineer
- Board Testing - Board bring up and Functional testing
- Certification Testing - Test plan creation, Test setup creation and testing at accredited labs
- Candidates having above experience with some mechanical experience will have added advantage
