Job Description:

Development of new business processes and systems to optimize business strategy, customer service levels, inventory investment, capital investment, sales and profitability. This includes inbound and outbound transportation, distribution operations, replenishment and overall supply chain integration with vendors and customers, sales and margin analysis, sourcing strategic total lowest cost analysis, pricing analysis.

• Perform fact based, data driven analysis, and modeling on significant amounts of data across all supply chain and customer service functions for purposes of turning it into actionable information
• Develop strategic and tactical cross-functional performance metrics
• Assist in process and technology development of new/existing distribution  facilities including warehouse layout, material handling specifications, and system specifications
• Implement quality and productivity improvement programs throughout the supply chain
• Assist in analyzing inbound and outbound transportation expense to evaluate static and dynamic routing opportunities
• Other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned

 Skills / Experience / Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's in business, statistics, logistics, math, engineering
• Proficiency in SQL required (strong relational database skills)
• Agile and flexible.
• Able to work in a fast moving, demanding environment
• Strong understanding of statistical forecasting methods
• Strong communication skills

Experience: 

·         3-5+ years experience in field demonstrating problem analysis and problem solving including experience in data analysis, modelling, statistical research, forecasting, data mining, database analysis, or strategic planning.
