Title : Mobile/Web Software Engineer

Location: Pocasset, MA

Position type : 3-6 months

 

 

Summary:

Provide leadership and ownership for major facets of Onset Product Development projects and activities. Critical contributor in the design and development efforts for new releases and sustaining improvements of Onset products. Support the design, development, and support of Onset strategic initiatives. 

Technical Skills: 

• Demonstrated experience with: 
• Mobile application development and release
• Objective C
• Framework development
• Swift a plus
• Communications with mobile accessories such as NFC, BLE, WiFi Direct, Serial, USB a plus
• Android and cross-platform experience a plus
• Web application development
• Java (JSF 2.0)
• Ajax, Javascript, REST web services
• Familiarity with database development and warehousing technologies
• Unit testing experience and familiarity with TDD
• Experience with Agile software methodologies

 

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree
• Demonstrated expertise of the software engineering discipline and proven success in developing and delivering products to market. Capable of completing the design and development activities for most elements of an application and/or system
• Solid understanding of current emerging software technologies
• Strong teamwork, communications, and inter-personal skills
