Job Title: Testing Automation Lead / Automation Architect

Location: Audubon, PA

Duration: 6+ Months

Skills Required:

1.       Hands on experience on programming languages.

2.       Experience with at least one test case management tool such as Quality Center, Jira, or Team Foundation Server.

3.       Hands on with Coded UI and Ranorex.

4.       Skills on .Net & C# programming skills.

5.       Knowledge on NUnit.

6.       Automate existing regression test suite for .Net Web and WPF applications using a suitable tool which will be finalized during the initial phase.

7.       Must have worked on TFS (Team Foundation Server) and integrated with automation suite.

8.       Plan and manage test cases for the work currently under development.

9.       Manage the test automation strategy for the applications.

10.   Implement test harnesses and automated test cases to verify the functionality under development.

11.   Develop/extend an automation framework with reusable components and libraries.

12.   Perform dry run and delivery of the developed automation scripts and assets to PJM team.

13.   Automation script maintenance.

14.   Maintain Selenium development environment.

15.   Lead offshore team and work with client team members on daily basis to manage test automation project.

16.   Willing to work as an individual contributor and able to manage team in steady state.

17.   Experience in trouble shooting skills using automation tools, ROI analysis, tool feasibility, tool recommendation, etc.

 

Role Description:

1.       Overall 5-7 years of testing experience, with at least 3+ years in test automation.

2.       Experience working with multiple compiled and interpreted programming languages, especially .Net & C#.

3.       Automated testing of Web based and WPF (.NET) applications.

4.       Should have managed and successfully delivered test automation projects working on various tools and frameworks.

5.       Hands on with commercial and open source tools like QTP, Selenium, etc.

6.       Familiarity with relational database systems.

7.       Excellent technical problem-solving and debugging skills.

8.       Strong self-motivation and willingness to tackle challenging problems.

9.       Ability to positively contribute in a team environment.
