This client is looking for an individual with significant experience in mainframe development to provide analysis, development and technical support for business services applications, including finance, accounting, purchasing, HR and budget applications in connection with a PeopleSoft implementation.  You will develop system interfaces, help with system conversions and collaborate with business team members to research, analyze and diagram systems and interfaces.

TARGET PROFILES

(in order of desirability)

·         #1 - Local -- MF Developer 8+ years

·         #2 - Non-local -- MF Developer 11+ years, experience in large, complex organizations

 

SKILLS - CORE:

·         Application Development and Support of CICS/DB2/COBOL/SAS/JCL Mainframe Systems: using Changeman and CNTL-M

·         Structured Analysis and Design of Online and Batch DB2/CICS/MVS COBOL Mainframe using SPUFI, SQL, FILEAID, VISIO, or the like

 

SKILLS - MAJORITY REQUIRED:

·         Develop and document functional requirements working with SME, IT staff and other stakeholders.

·         Technical Writing and Documentation

·         Ability to be self directed

·         Excellent organization, analytical, and communication skills

·         Analysis and Design of Mainframe Applications

·         Business Process Improvements

·         Experience as a developer in large, very complex organization

·         Develop test plans and procedures

·         Experience using SQL, SPUFI, Platinum, FileAid, QMF Tools or Equivalent, to Identify, Create and Validate Test Data for DB2 Mainframe Systems

·         Provide One Work Reference -- State of WI requires a reference to be shared on submission. Name, phone, email, company, role. Ideally someone candidate reported to.
