Job Description:
· Collaborative responsibilities will include coordination and participating in discussions with DevOps Architect, Enterprise Architect team, Development, QA, and Operations.
· Lead change to raise awareness and get buy-in from key stakeholders for process, tool and best practices for Continuous Delivery pipeline, lead pilot and manage, control & report progress of rollout for products.
· Lead and communicate effectively with internal customers to evaluate alternative technical solutions related to DevOps strategies.
· Diagnoses highly complex systemic problems and takes the lead until the issue is resolved.
· Responsible for continuous delivery implementation and execution to achieve success full build, test and deployment activities for one or more product.
· Recommends DevOps tools while maintaining knowledge of tools used in the industry and in the department.
· Lead rollout of Test Automation (ATDD), Sonar integration, Selenium and various other tools into the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes.
· Participate in DevOps Maturity Model as needed, review with stakeholders and suggest improvements to model for Continuous Improvement.
· Champion adherence to Agile and Lean principles, good software design practices, and the application of Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD), Automation everywhere, and the daily delivery of high quality software.
· Continually define ways to increase customer satisfaction and deepen internal customer relationships.
Deep experience with Continuous Delivery technologies e.g. Serena ChangeMan, Subversion, Mercurial, GIT, ANT, Maven, Groovy, Gradle, puppet, Chef, Jenkins, Urban Deploy, Red Hat jBPM, Ruby, Cucumber etc...
· Experience in Acceptance Test
