Fullstack Java Developer

Sunnyvale CA.

Mainly Web Services and the Front End

 

Be part of a cutting edge team located near San Jose CA. The team is looking for a fullstack Java developer, to develop features on an enterprise application that supports mobile and web applications.  Being a part of a small team, a willingness to work in all parts of the system is required.

 

Responsibilities:

• Develop new features and perform upgrades, enhancements or maintenance to existing application features
• Effectively participate in functional/technical group discussions with team members and requirements definition meetings with the Product team and a variety of clients
• Explore product requirements to figure out technical difficulties, recommend implementation approaches, and draft functional specifications (FRDs)
• Perform unit testing and provide guidance/support during Integration testing phase
• Resolve defects during QA testing and in post-release patches
• Work and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients as needed, including collaborating with team members or clients based internationally
• Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

 

• At least 7+ years backend Java
• Strong with JavaScript (good at hand coding), (some) Angular, HTML and CSS
• Spring and Hibernate frameworks
• Strong experience creating and manipulating web services (REST) from scratch
• Linux/UNIX
• Experience with developing applications starting with design through to production
• Good multi-threaded programming
• Excellent Problem solving skills
• Team player, able to collaborate with other teams
• Experienced with developing design docs
• Excellent analytical skills
• Good with Oracle and SQL
• Excellent communication skills
