Position       :  Java Oracle ADF Developer     

Location      :  Basking Ridge, NJ

Duration     :  6+ Months

Working hours: While normal work 9am - 5pm hours are expected, there will be a need to work evenings and late nights to accommodate systems maintenance timetables. 

Travel: extensively to client sites.

 

Skills: Java, Oracle software stack, JBoss Fuse, PLSQL, and ADF

 

Job Description

·         Project(s) the candidate will be working various technical systems include enhancements, revisions, and configuration tuning for Healthcare Exchange projects.

·         The candidate will be working with a team, with 50+ resources based in Basking Ridge NJ. The position also requires travel working remotely at client locations.

 

Job Responsibilities

• Resources will be a senior-level resource on the team with responsibilities across designing, developing, and testing commercial healthcare software applications
• Resources will work with system analysts to flesh out project requirements and design high-level system specifications, such as UML diagrams, data modeling and object-oriented design

Job Requirement

• A minimum of 5 years' related experience in a commercial software development role
• Strong object oriented programming skills
• Hands-on development experience including using - Java, Oracle software stack, JBoss Fuse, PLSQL, and ADF
• Hands-on experience Oracle, OPA and other enterprise-class RDBMS, including experience with database installation, administration, and performance tuning
• Prior experience with performance optimization and troubleshooting of Java applications; working with complex systems

Pluses

• Hands-on development experience using Java, JBoss Fuse, Oracle software stack, PLSQL, and ADF
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Healthcare payor domain expertise is highly desirable but not required

Pluses - skills/attributes

• Prior experience with performance optimization and troubleshooting of Java applications; working with complex business application development projects and operating as a hands-on leader of small development teams is desirable
• Client facing - demonstrated strong communication skills
