Job Title: Sr. Voice Engineer

Location: SFO – CA

Duration: 6+ Months

Must have strong Cisco IP phone expertise.

 

Responsibilities:

Performs activities required to deploy and support the enterprise IP network comprising over 60 sites nationwide and supporting branch operations, 24x7 production datacenters and applications, telephone and video systems, user workstations and other devices:

 

Required Skills:

·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

·         Expert knowledge of Cisco IP networking equipment and software - Cisco CCNP or equivalent - with a minimum 7 years' experience administering enterprise IP networks in mission-critical, 7x24 production environments

·         Solid understanding of TCP/IP network protocols, including common application protocols

·         Demonstrated ability to systematically troubleshoot problems in complex systems and network environments

·         Extensive experience with both interior and exterior routing protocols, including OSPF, and BGP

·         Solid understanding of VPN concepts and experience with GRE, IPSEC and other VPN technologies

·         Experience supporting high-availability networks in load-balanced, n-tier application environments

·         Experience supporting secure enterprise wireless networks; including Aruba knowledge and experience

·         Experience supporting IP-based voice and video systems, including QoS on both LAN and WAN infrastructure

·         Experience deploying and managing SNMP-based network monitoring tools

·         Working knowledge of Checkpoint and Juniper firewalls and security appliances

·         Enterprise-level system administration of Unix or Windows servers

·         Experience with Active Directory and LDAP authentication systems

·         Experience with Cisco Telepresence on Tandberg hardware

·         Familiarity with SNORT, nCircle, Imperva, DAM and WAF devices and services.

·         Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communications skills

·         Team player

·         Provides extraordinary service
