Position: SAP  PP consultant with MRP

Location: Houston,TX

Duration: 6 months

Exp: 5-8 Years

 

Experience Required:

·         The consultant would be required to configure MRP in SAP to plan spare parts in various plants.

·         The consultant will be responsible for development/ configuring/ setup of MRP strategies for the given plants. He shall be working with key stake holders to establish strategy and lead ongoing review process for MRP parameters.

·         He has to ensure that all active designated  parts are correctly configured in SAP ECC 6.0 to run MRP including but not limitedValidate planned parts strategy

·         Validate/update segmentation strategies

·         Validate segmentation results

·         Establish plant/material lot sizing configuration/data for materials (Static, Periodic, Optimum)

·         Determining if scrap factors are correct

·         Ensuring safety stock is correctly calculated

·         Determining correct MRP Type for each plant/material combination

·         Setting up Re-order point and forecast based parts

·         Establishing planning run types

·         Establishing MRP Areas and Plant Settings

·         Additionally, consultant will provide insights into how maintenance orders can be integrated into the planning cycles.
