Job Details

The primary responsibility of this role is to 1) provide business software application and solution architectures for Custom Applications and 2) provide leadership in account opportunities working with Customers, Service Delivery Partners, Services Sales, Sales Engineers, and Account Managers worldwide on Custom Business Applications (applications and tools developed

 

Job Requirements

• 10+ years' experience in architecting and developing custom software solutions in the UCC and audio/video industries
• Previous experience as a lead software developer with back-end enterprise business software systems, user interface designs, and working with software development teams.
• Strong experience in programming languages, application frameworks, component designs, scripts, databases, application servers, end user device operating systems, and software development methodologies (agile, continuous delivery, etc.)
• Consulting Services software architecture, design, and delivery experience
• Extensive architectural skills dealing with infrastructure solutions such as systems management and business continuity
• Outstanding front-line customer interaction and service skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with technical and non-technical people. Skills in writing concise, understandable, technical documentation;
• Deep expertise in the Product set
• Expertise in Microsoft UC solutions
• Streamlining UCC Workflows including pre-call, in-call, post-call user experiences
• Expertise in streaming video/audio, media content management systems, and applications utilizing audio/video content.
• Translate complex technical solutions into Customer language
• Translate complex business process into technical requirements
• Articulate the Cost, Feature, Time tradeoffs that are associated with custom solutions

 

Preferred Skills:

• Systems Architecture and Senior Software Development
• Programming languages and application frameworks (C++, Java, Objective-C, etc.), scripting (Javascript, SQL, Phython, etc.), databases (SQL, non-SQL, Hadoop, etc.), application servers (Tomcast, Jetty, Jboss, etc.), end user device operating systems (Android, iOS, Windows, etc.), and software development methodologies (Agile, Continuous Delivery, etc.)
• Problem Solving
• Experience with other video conferencing platforms
• Experience with streaming media platforms and systems (servers, encoders, media players, etc.)
• Experience with UC & As a Service solutions
• Experience self-managing and autonomously prioritizing multiple projects/tasks
• Excellent communications skills
• Proven track record in acquiring expertise in new technologies

·         Higher education to degree level or similar qualification
