Any or all of the following: Pension, Retirement, Operations, Accounting, Treasury, Legal and Actuarial experience a plus. Dealing with multiple and diversified Lines-of-Business mandatory. Will be interfacing heavily with internal clients from business groups.
Minimum Requirements:
• Hold or studying for a Project Management qualification (PMI or PRINCE2) would be desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Customer focused with a proven track record in previous roles.
Possess strong organizational skills.
• Be savvy in Word and Excel.
• Self-motivated with an ability to work in teams.
• Comfortable asking questions of audience members.
• Be enthusiastic, ambitious and keen to learn new skills with a positive attitude.
• Be able to work to strict deadlines.
• Attention to detail, conscientious and have an ability to work on your own initiative is also essential.
• Flexible working hours to facilitate occasional conference calls as required.
• Ability to run projects independently
• Ability to hit the ground running - minimal ramp up
• Proven 10 - 15 years of experience overall
• Ability to navigate in a large Enterprise Environment
• Must be a real "go getter"
• Exudes passion about the work
• Must demonstrate understanding and ability to balance Project Plan/Strategy/Vision
• Excellent communication - get other to follow their lead

Description:
Senior Project Manager. He\she will partner with the Enterprise Services and Financial Systems and Internal Consulting Group, providing support to a Director working on multiple lines of business. The successful candidate would be expected to have project management experience with strong communication and leadership ability. He\she will have excellent organizational and coordination skills with an ability to multitask and work with stakeholders across diverse functions.
The successful candidate will be a proactive self starter, with a proven record of taking initiative and working without supervision. He\She will be enthusiastic, self-motivated and experienced in working within deadlines.
The successful candidate will have excellent skills working with standardized project management documents and a minimum of three years experience in project management. Knowledge of Financial Services HIGHLY referred.
• Assist with the development of a project plan, track that plan and monitor progress throughout the lifespan of the project.
• Previous experience within the Insurance industry would be advantage but not essential.
• Work with the project manager to obtain detailed project estimates.
• Facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes and allocate tasks accordingly.
• Assist the Project Manager to coordinate project phases and track progress.
• Liaise with the project team members, develop strong working relationships and be able to influence at all levels.
• Prepare regular status reports.
• Identify and track risks
• Collate data and gather updates from project teams and stakeholders to prepare weekly and monthly status reports and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Conduct thorough quality reviews on all reports and documentation to ensure consistency is maintained throughout the project and complete ad hoc requests as necessary.
