Job Title:     ETL Solution Designer/Developer Consultant

Location:     Denver,CO

Duration:     3-6 months Contract 

  

Required Experience

Minimum 7 years IT experience in data integration (ETL)

Minimum 3 years developing solutions using SAP Data Services

Basic understanding of SAP functional area

Experience in SAP BW a plus

Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to translate Business goals into technical solution

Mining/Global industry experience a plus

Scope of Work (Please see attached draft SOW for more details about the role)

Database table build and unit test for ACQ (Stage) layer, bringing data from source systems into the EDW

ETL Source to Target Mappings, including all data transformation rules, including ACQ (Stage)  ->Base, Base (Data Warehouse Layer)->Base BI (Data Mart Layer).  

Database Views, as needed, to enable proper availability of data to the Business Objects Universe and/or Reports

Data Services ETL technical design, build, unit test and integration test for all data required for the Universe/Report.  Unit test and integration test results reviewed with Newmont IT, as required.

Data Services and EDW Break Fix support during unit test, integration test and hypercare.

EDW and Data Services knowledge transfer and transition to steady state activities with Infosys and Newmont IT resources

All documentation to be reviewed by Newmont IT and updated according to feedback, resulting in signoff of deliverables.

All test cases and results to be reviewed and signed off by Newmont IT before considered complete.

Provide Newmont IT and Project Manager with work estimates and status as requested
