Job Title: PEGA Developer

Location: Sterling,VA (Locals Preferred)

Duration : 6+ Months

Description:

The Software Engineer  Pega is a functional expert in the field of software engineering as it relates to the business objectives of Asurion.  

The Software Engineer 3 will design, code, test, and debug applications that meet system standards and functional requirements in various software languages. 

The position will assist in code reviews and with the activities for approved Projects, system improvements, and ad-hoc or emergency requests.  

The Software Engineer 3 will maintain an understanding and work to develop expertise of the functional software engineering processes used by Asurion. 

Required Skills:

3+ years of software development life cycle experience. 

2+ years of Java/J2EE experience or related technologies required

2+ year of PEGA experience required  including intimate knowledge of PRPC 6.x/7.x and Pega CPM Framework

2+ years experience in B2B technologies preferred. 

2 years experience in web-related and client-server/web service applications development such as Webservices, WSDL, SOAP, UI

Show willingness to learn new technologies on the job.

3 + Years of Experience in UNIX and Windows environments. 

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.

Excellent communication skills are an absolute must both Verbal and Written.
