Title:  Tech Lead - Web Front End (JavaScript MVC)

Location: Raleigh NC

Terms: Contract – 12+ Months

Job Details:

The client is looking to once again build the UI framework from scratch and is looking for someone who can recommend one framework over another (For example Angular vs Backbone). Also for someone who can serve as the architect/designer for the front end frameworks.

 

Based on this, we need to target resources that have….

·       Broader exposure to front end technologies.

·       Front end design experience.

 

Responsibilities:

·        Design and construct Web front end for applications. Define use of HTML/CSS standards, JavaScript frameworks (Angular, jQuery, etc.), CSS approaches such as SASS.

·        Design and build cross-browser and responsive application front ends

·        Build application front-end, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Web API access

·        Provide technical leadership to the UI development team in building the front end

·        Collaborate closely with the UI designers and the API/Middle Tier development teams to deliver front-end functionality

 

Required Skills:

·        Experience building cross  browser, responsive web user interfaces and frameworks for the Web

·        At least 10 years industry experience.

·        At least 5 years design designing and building application front-ends.

·        At least 5 years of hands on experience working with Java and Web front-end technologies - HTML, CSS, JavaScript

·        At least 5 years of experience working with Front end frameworks - Angular JS or similar

·        Experience working with REST Web APIs

·        Experience with frameworks such as SASS or similar

·        Must have experience working with and driving an offshore team

·        Expertise delivering projects in using Agile

 

Nice to Have Skills:

·        Experience designing or architecting SaaS platforms
