Role: Cloud Database Analyst

Work Location: San Jose, CA

Start date: ASAP

End Date: 6 months with extension highly likely

 

Background check MANDATORY

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Experience with Cloud databases like Cassandra, MongoDB, Hive, etc.

• Exposure with relational DB like Oracle and/or MS-SQL is plus

• Data Model Analysis and Design

• ER Model creation and updates

• Activities involve interaction with development and end-user personnel to determine application data structure requirements, transaction rates, volume analysis

• Develop and maintain integrated databases across Cloud environments

• Determines database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, programming views and evaluating current systems

• Develops database solutions for security, back-up, and recovery specifications.

• Maintains database performance by identifying and resolving production and application development problems; calculating optimum values for parameters; evalua
