C++ Developer

Location: Mountain View, CA

Duration: 3+ months

Responsibilities

•         Develop and implement algorithms for data processing and manipulation tasks (e.g., cleaning, parsing, sorting, ranking)

•         Program algorithms into C++ executable code

•         Participate in complete end-to-end data engineering project work, including design, reviews, development, unit test, and deployment 

•         Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches 

•         Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies

 

Qualifications 

•         6+ years of experience developing web, software, or mobile applications

•         BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience

•         Strong experience in C++ required.

•         Significant experience with C++ multithreaded development

•         Experience with webservices development is very highly desired

•         Experience with SQLite

•         Experience with HTTP and JSON client libraries in C++

•         Experience with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

•         Solid communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences

•         Strong understanding of the Software design/architecture process

•         Experience with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)

•         Experience with social, mobile, cloud/SaaS, big data, and analytics
