Sr. Netezza Developer

Location - NYC

Duration:  Long term

 # of positions – 1

 

Prefer someone from Eastern States

Sr. Netezza Developer with 5- 7 years of experience

 

Roles & Responsibilities

• Netezza database developer based on technical architecture and design that supports business requirements.

• Understand the high level business and application level needs for data warehousing

• Work with the Business Analysts and Architects to verify functional and unit test case written for various data transformation scenarios

• Ensure defects are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner. QC exposure would be an advantage Required Skills Technical skills:

• Solid understanding of Netezza

• Strong development experience – looking around 5-7 years.

• Good to have knowledge of Informatica. This is not mandatory.

• Experienced with Perl/Unix scripting.

• Domain leadership Skills : Financial services is preferred

 

Preferred skills:

Exposure to big data technologies is a plus but not a must have
