Skills:

Oracle Software Engineer tomaintain an existing Oracle Forms and Reports application and to work on production support and trouble shoot production issues.  Other responsibilities include:

• Develop SQL, PL/SQL scripts for data analysis and data cleanup as needed.?
• Work with other Software Engineers in identifying and resolving application issues.?
• Work with Project Managers to provide estimate of effort for work and progress of work?
• Work with Business Analysts and business users to understand problems, enhancements and data changes requested.?
• Work with Quality Assurance and Release Coordinator to transition changes made from development to system test and to production.?
• Use incident tracking system JIRA to document changes made and progress?
• Use software version control Mercurial to track code changes.?
• Attend status meetings as required.

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent (minimum 3 years experience in Information Technology)?
• Minimum 3 years experience in Web deployed Oracle Forms and Reports development?
• Minimum 3 years experience using Oracle databases?
• Minimum 3 years experience in writing PL/SQL?
• Minimum 3 years experience using software development methodologies to perform analysis, design, construction and implementation of custom software?

Desired

• Experience using Agile methodology is a plus?
• Experience designing systems around the use of automated workflow, document imaging, and custom business applications is a plus?
• Experience in the Financial/Retirement sector, including administration of retirement systems and/or health insurance is a plus?
• Proven ability to multi-task on concurrent projects?
• Excellent oral and written communication skills?
• Participation in  education will be considered a plus
