Title: .NET Developer

Location: San Francisco, CA

Duration: 1yr Contract

Rate: $50/hr on C2C

 

Only Locals F2F Required!!!

 

Qualifications:

        7+ years' experience in software development. Experience around designing, coding, and implementing application development and integration projects.

        5+ years of experience with data-driven application development.

        Strong knowledge of the.Net technology stack

·         4+ year(s) of experience with the .Net Framework and C#

·         3+ year(s) of experience with Transact SQL

·         3+ years of experience with any two of the following:? WPF? WCF or RESTful web services? .Net Libraries o 3+ year(s) experience working with any of the following? Oracle? DB2? MS SQL Server

        Experience in integration techniques, patterns, tools and methodologies.

        Sufficient understanding of application security and knowledge of secure coding practices.

        Ability to review specifications and architect interfaces based on their design.

        Ability to quickly identify bugs in code, determine the depth and severity of problems, and identify resolutions to problems.

        Ability to plan and execute updates to live systems.

        Application performance tuning and troubleshooting skills.

        Ability to find, evaluate, and weigh the risks and advantages of 3rd-party tools.

        Proper understanding of the balance between patching and rebuilding.

        Strong written and oral communication skills.

        Strong and proven interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve differences in a professional manner, negotiate, and create consensus.

        Proven ability to collaborate and work horizontally throughout a complex organization.

        Outstanding attention to detail.

        Strong analytical skills.

        Ability to manage competing priorities.

 

Responsibilities:

        Develop software solutions based on communicated business needs.

        Meet with clients to discuss and understand business needs and work processes.

        Assist subject matter experts in developing business requirements and specifications.

        Translate business requirements into technical specifications.

        Perform risk analysis and provide reasonable estimate for the software development effort.

        Perform the coding task based on the selected architecture, design, and technical specifications.

        Adequately test the developed software prior to user acceptance testing, making changes as needed.

        Keep abreast of latest industry best practices and technologies, incorporating them in technical solutions when appropriate.

        Work with minimal instruction on day-to-day work and with limited supervision.

        Work collaboratively with fellow developers, customers, and other team members.

        Follow established Federal Reserve System development life cycle practices and methodologies.

        Communicate effectively with business users, technical colleagues, and management throughout the application development lifecycle.
