Main experience should be on - windows, citrix - xen app xen desktop - ts & install applications. SCCM 2012, then netscaler. Using Netscaler as Access gateway, load balancing, zen mobile.

Description:

 

Job Summary:

•       Responsible for setting standards and implementing technologies for the firm

•       Analyze and recommend new technologies and deploy approved projects

 

Essential Functions:

•       Participates in large projects of moderate complexity involving installation or conversion

•       Provides expert judgment and analysis for the design, development and implementation of technical products and systems.

•       Resolves complex technical issues and conducts advanced research.

•       Recommends alternatives to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures.

•       Develops technical documentation and participates in the establishment of security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure conformity with information systems and business objectives and strategy.

•       Provides technical third level support 24x7.

•       Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

Essential Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and other Job Related Competencies:

•       Knowledge of Firm operation, policies and procedures

•       Thorough working knowledge of Citrix Suite of Software, Citrix Netscaler Technologies,  Microsoft Windows 2003, 2008 and 2012  servers running IIS, MS SQL, Exchange, DNS and DHCP, supporting multi-site enterprise environment, Microsoft Windows 2008 Active Directory, Virtualization technologies VMWARE ,Xen, HyperV, Microsoft Group Policies, Microsoft Operation Manager, Microsoft SCCM, Anti-Virus solutions - preferably MS FEP and/or Trend Micro

•       Experience with MSI application packaging (preferably InstallShield), remote software distribution (preferably SCCM), multi-platform computing preferred, e.g. Unix, Networking protocols and concepts including routing, TCP/IP and FTP

•       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

•       Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

•       Excellent decision-making and organizational skills with emphasis on detail and follow-up skills

•       Ability to demonstrate strong teamwork

•       Experience working in a multi-national Data Center environment a big plus

•       Ability to work weekends, night and after hours

•       Scripting – batch, powershell and VB

•       Flexibility to adjust hours to meet operating needs

 

Education and Experience:

•       High School Diploma or equivalent

•       Minimum of three years network experience supporting Windows XP and Windows 7 in a large network environment

•       Five years hands on experience working with Citrix Suite of Software and Citrix Netscaler

•       Three years' experience working with Microsoft Windows 2003 and 2008 servers running IIS, MS SQL, Exchange, DNS and DHCP

•       Three years supporting multi-site enterprise environment
