Main Function
The role is to be an Application Support Analyst within the existing Application Management team looking after front / middle / back office systems for Stock Lending business in Prime Services.
The primary responsibility is to ensure the continued availability, effectiveness and accuracy of production systems, and realize the maximum value from them through continual technical and business process improvement.
Person Requirements
Qualifications/Education Required
Degree in computing or a numerate/business subject
Experience Required
Experience in financial / trading application support role.
Skills / Aptitude Required
OS : MS Windows (i.e. 2000, XP…) and UNIX
Microsoft SQL
Scripting (PERL / shell)
Autosys
Understanding of connectivity, networks, firewall and TCP/IP protocol.
Knowledge of trading systems or business.
Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Global team player, able to work well in a cross-discipline team and alone without micromanagement. Pro-active, thorough and energetic.
Excellent problem solver with commitment to thorough root cause analysis.
