IBM WebSphere SME or Architect at Auburn Hills MI

 Title: IBM WebSphere SME/Architect

Location: Auburn Hills, MI

Duration: 4-6 Months

Rate:  $65/hr C2C

 

This person will work in the Digital Retail division on VGoA, specially the project associated with AccessAudi and VWHub (Portals). These portals will allow VGoA to communicate more effectively and allow business units to access their data more efficiently.

 

Over 10 years overall IT experience

·         Over six years of WebSphere experience

·         Almost 2 years of previous experience working within the VWGoA

·         development environment

·         Extensive Portal Development experience across technology domains

·         including Java, J2EE, Websphere

 

While this person will need to be highly technical, they will be interacting and communicating with leadership and non-technical individuals.

 

This is a migration from IBM Websphere 6.1 to 8.5. This person will be responsible to understand the development aspects, put them into testing, document the performance and make recommendations on what needs to be done.  *An OE background would be preferred to ensure a quick ramp up.
