Position:  SAP Enterprise Portal Consultant

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: 6 Months

 

Job Description

·        Minimum 7 years of experience in SAP Enterprise Portal technologies and tools.

·        Expertise in Installation / maintenance of SAP Enterprise Portal

·        Experience in portal upgrade from Portal 7.0/7.01 to portal 7.3/7.4 is a must

·        Experience of user administration, content administration & system administration tasks

·        Experience in creation and configuration of Pages, iViews, WorkSets, Roles & Users in SAP Net Weaver 7.0 or higher.

·        Experience in customization of portal desktop, configuration of portal themes and standard portal applications.

·        Experience in installation and configuration of business packages

·        Configuration and customization of UWL

·        Overall KM Administration

·        Knowledge on Webdynpro for Java is additional advantage

·        Solid overall experience with SAP Portal Development, configuration and administration.

·        Ability to design, build and deploy and test SAP Portal applications based on SAP best practices.

·        Ability to lead a SAP Portal 7.3/7.4 upgrade project

·        Hands on experience with Portal 7.3/7.4 upgrade and migration of custom portal components

·        Experience working in an external facing portal and federated portal landscape

·        Experience with customization, configuration, and enhancement of various SAP business packages like ESS, MSS, SRM, CRM, etc from a portal perspective

·        Strong web development skills like HTML, XML, Javascript, JQuery/JSON, AJAX, CSS, etc.

·        Strong experience with Portal Branding, UWL configuration and customization, NWDI/NWDS, Web Page Composer, Knowledge Management.

·        Exposure to OpenText WSM/PSM or any other web content management solution would be an added advantage
