Position: Data Center Consultant

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: 3- 6 Months

 

Vast Experience in Data Center Standards, Polices and Procedures.

Excellent Technical Documentation skills including Facilities drawings.

Must  know Industry Standards for Wiring, Cabling, Power, Cooling, Flooring, Water cooling pipes, Racking, Stacking, Color Coding standards for High Tier Data Centers. Etc

Must be well versed with Industry Data Center Standards such as UPTIME and TIA.

Good Communicator who can talk to various stakeholders of our client about the DC standards and evangelize it.

 

Services to be provided:

Definition of Services

Design of Data Center Facilities (Power Cooling Rack/Stack, Cabling)

Review the Standards already set up in the STREAM Data Center in Woodlands, Houston and Document the standards that can be used for the Migration.

 

Scope of Services

Support to be provided during Central time business work hours

Delivering services in accordance to the Service Level Agreements (SLA hereafter) and/or Key performance Indicator (KPI hereafter) as communicated to the Consultant/ Consultant Personnel by the First Party. Handling issues that are requested via phone calls during business hours

Outside business hours support on a case to case basis.

Perform troubleshooting and document the resolutions in the knowledge base. Also perform knowledge transfer and cross training activities in the team.

Co-ordination with other teams on need basis
