Position:        DBA  DB2 LUW

Duration:     Initially be 3 months but could extend up to 12 months based on performance.

Location:        Freeport ,Maine

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

·         Have an immediate need for a DBA - DB2 LUW (Linux/Unix/Windows) on our Business Transformation Project - Realization Phase (Business Intelligence Team).  

·         This role requires a Senior DBA for DB2 LUW for Linux/Unix/Windows. 

·         Experience with large, parallel processing, DB2 Data Warehouse environment. 

·         Activities to include standard table creation, but also data partitioning, advanced optimization, and integrated workload management.

 

Must have:

·         Experience in a large DB2 data warehouse environment.

·         Experience with Data Partitioning Feature (DPF) and parallel processing.

·         Experience with advanced optimization – MDCs, MQTs, etc.

·         Experience with the integrated Workload Manager (WLM)

 

Nice to have:

·         Experience with V10.n
