Job Title: Android Developer
Location:Chicago, IL, US
Qualifications:

The Android Developer will review requirements and design for the development of enhancements to a tablet application. The developer will work with the project manager and back-end developer to ensure that the Android application functions as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in J2EE/OOP, Java ME, XML, SOA implementation of software design patterns.
- 1+ years of experience in Android development, from concept through to successful launch of an application in Google Play.
- Expert in Android framework (activities, services, related lifecycles, intents, content providers, broadcast receivers etc.).
- Knowledge of Multithreading and thread synchronization. Optimization techniques necessary for mobile devices with limited battery life (reduce number of instruction cycles, minimize memory access, don't leak any resources etc.).
- Strong understanding of the latest features and development best practices for Android, including features in upcoming SDKs, resource optimization techniques and social network integration (e.g. Facebook)
- Strong attention to details, organization and time management skills.
- Experience in working with designers, product managers and software engineers to come up with breakthrough product ideas.
