System Admin

Max Rate $57/hour c2c  (Direct Client)

 

 

Responsible for providing advanced system administration functions in support of the overall design and implementation of Broadband OSS systems. This responsibility will include installing, configuring, and maintaining both virtual and physical operating system servers in support of business processing requirements. 

Required Qualifications 
- Detailed knowledge of Solaris Operating Systems 
- Detailed knowledge of Linux Operating Systems 
- Detailed knowledge of Unix / Linux shell scripting 
- Experience with Linux and Solaris virtualization technologies 
- Familiarity with OS backup/recovery utilities 
- Extensive experience with current Oracle Enterprise class Sparc server products 
- Extensive experience with current x86 server products 
- Familiarity with Storage solutions 
- Familiarity with Oracle 11g RAC 

Desired Qualifications 
- Familiarity with Veritas Volume Manager 
- Familiarity with Veritas File System 
- Familiarity with Veritas Cluster Services 
- Familiarity with Cloud technology 
- Familiarity with VMWare 
- Familiarity with Oracle VM 
- Familiarity with configuring systems for use with Oracle Database products 
- Familiarity with Oracle WebLogic
