Position: Cognos Developer
Location: Horsham, PA
Duration: 6-12 Months
 
F2F Interview is Mandatory for this position after Telephonic Round.
 
Job Description: 

• A minimum of 5 years of related experience developing Cognos reports and cubes

• Strong technical and functional knowledge of Oracle 10g DB, framework modeling and Business Intelligence tool

• Establishing and configuring dynamic drill through definitions from an OLAP cube to dimensionally modeled report

• Experience with the IBM Cognos 10.2 tool suite (Report Studio, Workspace, Workspace Advances, etc.) and Performance Management tools (TM1 Architect and Perspectives, etc.) is preferred but not required

• Experience with Financial Warehouses and Reporting Systems

• Good understanding of time series analysis and calculations pertaining to financial reporting

• Cognos 10 and Oracle 10g Data Warehousing experience

• Extensive experience in Data modeling using Framework Manager

• Dynamic cubes is a plus

• experience on Transformer Models for corporate data for building Multidimensional Cubes.

• Designed dashboards based on power cubes, Relational and Dimensional Modeling.

• Performs analysis that is diverse and very complex and works independently under general direction (i.e. writing queries)

• Knowledge and experience in Data Warehousing (ETL, Data Analysis, etc.) concepts
