JobTitle: Reporting Business Analyst
Location: Jacksonville , FL
Duration: 6+ Months Contract

 

** Rate : $40-45/hr on C2C **

 

Summary:
* The Reporting Business Analyst is responsible for creating business requirements documents and detail designs including mockup and filed level specifications
* Leverage Guidewire user stories, system, prior reports and SME input to gather relevant information for report design specifications/requirements
* Reporting requirements are business centric and are leveraged by report designers and data warehouse teams

 

Role:
* Review and gain understanding of existing reports
* Create reproduce requirements for the existing and new  reports which will be generated from Guidewire System currently in development
* Review system development user stories with goal to understand what other reports might be needed in cases where new functionality is introduced
* Work with partner BAs and subject matter experts and project owner to gather solidify and gain approval on created requirements
* Present deliverables to large audience
* Execute testing and work closely with data warehouse team on integration of data and reporting architecture buildup

 

Required:
* P&C Claims and Policy processing knowledge
* Skilled in Creating Reporting Requirements Documents, Understand User Stories, Experienced in Reporting Testing execution
* Exposure to reporting utilities such as COGNOS , Hyperion, or other ad-hoc reporting tools
* Understanding of data warehousing methodologies, back end database design schemas, dimensions, fact tables relations and its impacts to report designs and development of requirements
* Can conduct JAD sessions and can control group settings to achieve the meeting objectives
* Able to work in Agile environment (fast paced environment), can work independently or as part of team, can work with minimal supervision, follow direction and be able to arrive to logical conclusions
* Be able to articulate questions or present issues, and in professional manner work with SMEs and Business Unit Partners
* Excellent communication skills and ability to elaborate on problem and solution in lemans terms. Ability to effectively/efficiently communicate with  peers and with senior leadership
* Needs to be able to make decisions and present solutions or design for input and critique from Product Owner and team members
* Understand how design impacts downstream reporting & integration of data to Data Warehouse
* Is diligent in maintaining assigned tasks in tracking systems such as Rally
 
Required Education: 
* Bachelors or Technical Certification & experience related to position description

 

Preferred Qualifications:
* Familiar with Guidewire product
