•Receives more complex work packages from manager/delegates. Develops accurate estimates, and creates project and component work packages based on specifications. 
•Identify ideas to improve system performance and impact availability and resolves complex technical design issues. 
•May serve as a mentor on procedural matters to junior team members.

 

•Key Technologies – Either

 

Front End UI Development: Java/J2EE, Core Java, GWT or AWT/Swing, AJAX, HTML, CSS, Hibernate, Tomcat

Backend: JBOSS, JMS/ActiveMQ, EJB, Hibernate, MySQL Cluster/Oracle, Solr/Lucene/Endeca

Minimum Requirements for a JAVA Lead :

•Bachelors degree and 8 years of IT work experience. 
•3+ years of practical core Java, J2EE, and Object Oriented Programming experience. 
•Advanced knowledge of Webservices development 
•4+ years client side development experience. 
•4+ years of server side development experience. 
•3+ years of SOLR/Lucene experience. 
•2+ years Java Swing AWT client side development experience.

•Understanding of integration.

•2+ years leading teams of developers implement large distributed projects. 
•3+ years hands on experience on design and development of web applications using J2EE.

•Experience in scalable server application development

•May serve as the subject matter expert on development techniques. Creates system documentation/play book and participates as a reviewer and contributor in requirements, design and code reviews.
