The SAP Business Objects Developer is a key role in the Enterprise Business Intelligence Technical Services and Architecture team and works closely with business leaders and users to define and design the BI Dashboards, Reports presentation and Information Delivery for business intelligence applications. This includes coaching and training BI Developers and internal users in the use of business intelligence presentation tools to enhance business decision-making capability. This role will also be responsible for design and implementation of the BI Tools and architecture to support TE next generation data warehouse. Develop standards, policies and procedures for the form, structure and attributes of the business intelligence tools and systems. Researches new technology and develops business cases to support enterprise-wide business intelligence solutions including reports, dashboards, scorecards and mobile BI content delivery.

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implement Business Intelligence (BI) Presentation tools with in the TE Organization for the next generation data warehouse with a focus on usability and ease of use for standard reports, dashboards, drill down reports, scorecards and mobile BI
Lead & manage TED 2.0 project technical team BI Analytics deliverables to ensure business objectives are met
Work with business managers to identify where business intelligence can be applied in supporting global business objectives
Partner with business analysts to understand requirements, source systems, and perform data analysis.
Maintain and foster collaborative efforts with all integrated business functions and the TEIS team to identify, establish, and share best practices

 

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Minimum of 5 + years' Experience in the design and implementation with SAP Business Objects BI Product Suite ( Web Intelligence , Explorer , Xcelsius , Visual Intelligence and Mobile BI).
Minimum of 5 + years of experience with Business Intelligence/ Datawarehouse data store design ( Datawarehouse / Datamart / Operational Data Store) environment.
Hands on Experience in Dashboard Design and Development using Xcelsius Designer/ Business Objects Dashboards Design.
Experience with Business Objects Enterprise / SAP Business Intelligence Analytics Platform 4.0.
Hands on Experience in Universe Design using Universe Designer / Universe Design Tool.
Hands on experience with Web Intelligence , QAAWS , Live Office , Infoview.
Hands on experience in the design of Business Objects Enterprise Server Platform Infrastructure.
Knowledge of business intelligence best practice processes, tools, standards and practices.
Strong analytical and conceptual design skills; strong problem-solving skills.
