NOTE: Local candidates preferred. Face to face may be required.

 

ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITES:

 

PROJECT PLANNING AND EXECUTION:

Ø  Manage all phases of complex IT software development project - including initiation, planning, definition, design, development, testing and deployment cycles

Ø  Develop project plans, establish milestones, monitor adherence to master plans and schedules

Ø  Manage project dependencies

Ø  Manage project budget

Ø  Ensure project is completed on time and within budget

 

STAKEHOLDER/CROSS-FUNCTIONAL TEAM MANAGEMENT

Ø  Manage cross-functional global teams in a matrix management framework

Ø  Ensure successful working relationships among project teams

Ø  Lead project review sessions to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance

 

RISK/ISSUE MANAGEMENT

Ø  Foresee, manage, and raise appropriate visibility to risks and issues

Ø  Drive resolution of any conflicts and escalate as needed to avoid roadblocks

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

 

Ø  EDUCATION/TRAINING

Ø  BS/BA; Masters (preferred)

Ø  Project Management certification or equivalent.

 

EXPERIENCE (MUST HAVE)

Ø  6+ years project related work experience

Ø  5+ years' experience leading complex Software Development projects in a complex, global corporate setting

Ø  3+ years' experience on software projects involving portals, web-services, and middleware

Ø  SDLC experience is a must. Agile experience is "nice-to-have"

Ø  Demonstrate good broad working knowledge of project management of software development projects

Ø  Must be a self-starter, motivated individual who works well under pressure

Ø  Ability to multi-task, prioritize and coordinate tasks to meet multiple deadlines

Ø  Ability to drive collaboration with business and technical teams to achieve effective solutions

Ø  Outgoing and comfortable building cross-functional relationships

Ø  Effective communication skills with all levels of management

Ø  Flexible and resilient, comfortable with ambiguity, adaptable to a high-change environment and open to new concepts and/or processes

Ø  Conflict resolution and negotiations skills to resolve disagreements quickly and effectively, bringing a problem-solving attitude to conflicting approaches and priorities involving others
