Description:

The client requires a senior-level SAS 9.2 (or 9.3) EBI architect, able to lead the client in understanding, determining and implementing the proper SAS EBI architecture and usage, based on best practices. 

Candidate must possess the following skill sets: 

1.       Senior-level experience architecting the best usage of SAS 9.2 or 9.3 EBI.   Consultant must have project experience architecting an Enterprise-wide SAS EBI solution.

2.       A Consultant with strong communication and thought leadership skills will assist customer with the usage and architecting the SAS EBI software suite and including Information Delivery Portal, Web Report Studio, Information Map Studio,  OLAP Cube Studio,  SAS BI Dashboards, SAS Stored Processes, Enterprise Guide, SAS/ACCESS to Teradata

3.       Must have Teradata experience, consultant will apply the use of SAS EBI against, and as part of, a Teradata DW.  Specifically, the consultant must have SAS EBI reporting project experience with Teradata as the data store.  Any expose to SAS/Teradata in-database analytics would be a plus.

4.       SAS OLAP reporting is required.  Architect SAS OLAP reporting solutions from both detail data  (MOLAP) and from relational tables (ROLAP).  Experience with performance tuning of OLAP cubes is preferred.

5.       Experience integrating SAS Enterprise Miner models within the EBI framework or integrating analytical processes within the SAS EBI solution.  The consultant doesn't need to know Enterprise Miner, but, know how to take developed models/processes and leverage in SAS EBI.

6.       Experience deploying SAS EBI with WebSphere application server is preferred.

7.       SAS Grid Computing experience is beneficial.

8.       Consultant must be proficient with Linux/Unix with shell scripting experience.

9.       Use SAS Management Console to administer SAS EBI metadata.

10.   Design, implement and maintain (perhaps with the client SAS Administrator) the BI security framework (access rights and privileges, user roles / groups, LDAP, SSO, etc.);

11.   Be proficient in Base SAS, SAS Macros and SAS Stored Process development and SAS EBI components.
