MUST HAVE 3 YEARS OF RECENT LOADRUNNER TESTING!

 

Overview and Responsibilities:

The Performance tester will be responsible for carrying out various kinds of Load, Stress and Volume testing on a new system that is being developed using latest technologies. The member will be responsible for working with various groups of people from BA and Development team's gathering performance requirements.

Load Runner will be used for carrying out performance testing and the member will be responsible for designing, developing and executing the performance automation scripts. The Member should be able to analyze the test results and provide recommendations to fine tuning the system with the goals of ensuring the optimal user experience and reducing hardware costs.

 

 Skills:

·         Ability to write Performance test plan's

·         Strong ability to gather performance requirements working with various groups such as BA's and developers

·         Design, Build and Execute automation scripts using Load Runner against Web applications involving complex Web Services

·         Designs and executes daily load BVTs

·         Ability to use load tools to monitor, gather, and report application performance on Windows and Linux machines.

·         Strong expertise on analyzing the various performance graphs and identify potential bottlenecks

·         Ability to provide suggestions based on test results in fine tuning the system with the goals of ensuring the optimal user experience and reducing hardware costs.

·         Ability to scale test results for different hardware configurations

·         Strong understanding of web protocols including HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/IP, and DNS

·         Strong understanding of networking and web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, jsp, asp, Flash, etc.

·         Knowledge of web page composition (static vs. dynamic elements, browser behavior, etc.)

·         At least 3 years of experience working with one of the Leading Performance testing tools

·         Prior experience in the one the programming languages such as Java or .NET
