Job Description:
PeopleSoft Developer - Technical 80% / Functional 20%
Responsible for the functional and technical design, development, testing, and documentation of modifications to Peoplesoft 8.4 Inventory/Purchasing and custom modules based on high level business requirements. Provide status updates on progress on assignments and assist business groups by supporting testing activities. Provide production support for existing Purchasing/Inventory 8.4 Peoplesoft modules.

- General Requirement:
- Peoplesoft Version 8.4 or higher Inventory and Purchasing – Technical 80% / Functional 20%
- Application Tools: Application Engine, PeopleCode, Process Scheduler, Component Interface, SQR, Page Design, Menu Design, Component Design, Record Design and Query Manager.
- Minimum of 6 years of technical development in PeopleSoft and supporting Peoplesoft Purchasing/Inventory Applications
- Ability to work independently to document functional and technical requirements and to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for mostly custom developed functionality
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to provide day to day support for existing Peoplesoft Version 8.4 or higher Inventory and Purchasing modules
- Production Support:
- Ability to provide day to day Production support for reported issues and requests received from system users.
- Ability to research and troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolution.
- Requirements Gathering:
- Works with project teams to understand, clarify, and document detailed functional business requirements
- Understands system design, application data models and entity relationships and contributes to finalizing the business requirements
- Technical Design:
- Map functional requirements, transforming them into technical requirements, and advise on best technical solutions for business requirements.
- Document detailed technical requirements
- Participate in code and technical requirements reviews
- Development:
- Develop and implement documented technical design to meet the business requirement.
- Unit test system changes with ability to identify and resolve issues
- Testing/Implementation:
- Coordinates implementation of changes to existing applications
- Documents configuration and participates in walkthroughs
- Assists in preparation of system test plans, test cases and scripts
- Supports system and regression testing and helps with ability to identify and quickly resolve issues and uncovered in user acceptance testing for the application development team
- Provide post-implementation support
