BACKFILL: Need Sr. QA / Lead for NY who is local - 8 yrs +

We are looking for a Senior QA Tester /LEAD for our client with a Minimum of 8 + years hands on experience with Manual and Automated Testing.

This is a very long term project.

LOCATION: White Plains, NY

DURATION: 6 Months Plus

Rate $ 47-50/Hr

QA Job Description for this opening –

Responsibilities include:

Reviewing project specifications and systems requirements of the project.

Generating test plans/Strategy to validate the requirements.

Developing test scenarios and generating detailed test procedures/Cases.

Executing tests and validating test results as detailed in the test procedures/Cases.

Identifying, analyzing, and documenting any defects discovered during testing.

Working with the development teams/Business analyst to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Generating test reports to document all test results.

Qualifications:

8+ years as Software QA Engineer

Have strong Analytical skills

BS Degree/Equivalent (Technology focus preferable)

Experience with designing test plans, scenarios, scripts, and/or procedures

3+ years of experience in SQL.

Experience in QTP

Experience in Performance testing preferable
