Oracle developer - with some experience on Java/ASP.net exp.

Location: Chicago, IL – In-person required

Duration: 6 months +

 

Note:-Only  citizen's, GC's and EAD's

 

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

Hands-on design, develop, testing, and implementation of solutions for the Product Information Management team.

Develop technical specifications and other documentation for modification of application business systems.  Promote technical improvements in systems performance and stability.

Identify, track, and resolve application defects in a timely manner.  Troubleshoot and update code to address defects and enhancements.

Follow coding best practices.  Perform design and code reviews with peers.  Create unit test cases.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 8 years experience using Oracle SQL, stored procedures, PL/SQL, atleast 3-4 yrs in Unix scripting.

Minimum 2 years experience in web-based application development.

 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:       

Proficiency in:

Oracle 10g/11

Stored procedures and packages

Unix Scripting Language

Unix - HP

SQL, PL/SQL

Oracle SQL Developer or similar tool

CTL-M or other automated scheduling package

Microsoft Office

Proven track record of delivering solutions using web-based technologies: Java / ASP.net, JSP, IIS or Tomcat, JBOSS / Websphere – required

Demonstrated experience with one or more enterprise integration technologies, such as TIBCO, Web methods, MQ series, etc – required

Demonstrated experience with workflow-based technologies and applications. – required.

Prior experience in implementing systems solutions involving product or master data applications - preferred.  

Specific experience with EnterWorks Enable - preferred.

Experience supporting search solutions using Endeca technologies – preferred.
