Job Title : SQL DBA
Location : Columbus, OH
Duration : 6+ Months Contract

 

Required / Desired Skills
Experience as an SQL Server Database Administrator with six (4) years on version 2005 or higher (2012). 7 Years Required
Experience in database performance tuning and application SQL tuning. 5 Years Required
Experience in data modeling and application database design. 3 Years Required
Experience in Microsoft SQL Server cluster installation and configuration. 3 Years Required
Experience with small to large scale SQL Server Database Migration projects and upgrade from SQL server 2000/2005 to 2008 and 2012. 2 Years Required
Experience in generating database performance metrics on database usage and availability. 5 Years Required
Experience in creating and supporting a SQL Server backup solutions. 5 Years Required
Experience with stored procedures, scripts, DTS packages and or Integration Services. 5 Years Required
Experience in SQL Server database design. 5 Years Required
Experience in migrating SQL Server databases from a physical hardware environment to a virtualized environment. 1 Years Required
Experience and knowledge in supporting applications following system development life cycle. 7 Years Required
Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP, SQL Server DBA certification 2005 or higher) certification is required. Required
Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certification is desirable. Desired
Must be able to use Microsoft Project, Word, PowerPoint and other Microsoft office tool suite. Desired
In addition, they may be requirement to carry a pager and/or cellular phone (at the vendor's expense). Required
