Title: VMWare Admin
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Duration: 6 months

 

Job Description:

·         Managing VMware based virtual environment. Adding and configuring new ESX hosts

·         Managing Domain Controllers, DNS and DHCP Servers

·         Patching ESX hosts and Virtual Machine using VMware Update Manager

·         Active Directory User Management and Group Management

·         Managing Group Policies thru "GPMSC" tool

·         Folder Permission

·         Performance Monitoring and Capacity Planning for present environment and future requirements

·         Troubleshooting Windows / VMware ESX hosts and coordinating with respective application owners to fix the issues

·         Integrating the Virtual Environment with Backup solution

·         Update and monitor Anti-virus software on servers

·         Coordinating with vendor such as VMware, Microsoft, Cisco, EMC and HP

Skills:

·         More than 7 years of experience in System Administration, VMware and AD support

·         Very good knowledge of VMware ESX 3.5/3i, vSphere ESX4.1/4i, vCenter, SRM, Windows 2003/2008

·         Very good Analysis and problem solving skills

·         Excellent communication skills

Education Qualification: Bachelor Degree
