PPDS Consultant 
Provide a brief description of the project role:
This position requires the individual to be the APO Production Planning / Detail Scheduling (PPDS) lead functional consultant.  

This position will work with other functional and technical team members and the client's user community to accomplish tasks and activities associated with the APO implementation

Duties and responsibilities (list all essential job functions):
• Lead the development and completion of the PPDS solution from blueprint to post go-live support.
•Lead PPDS process requirement gathering, PPDS functionality identification, possible issues and gaps determination, technical objects recognition, PPDS integration test scenarios, etc.
• Creating new Functional Specs for Technical Development objects 
• Create test scenarios, test scripts, and test data to support system integration and user acceptance testing.
• Support the creation of test data for user acceptance testing.
• Identify and help resolve data conflicts and issues with data mapping within the functional team.

Critical knowledge:
• Strong APO PPDS module knowledge with 4+ years experience preferred.  
• Knowledge of integration between SAP ECC master data required to enable PPDS
• Experience with the CIF for creation and maintenance of CIF models for master and transactional data 
• Experience in process industries 
• Experience in using block planning functionality
• Experience setting up Heuristic /Optimization planning
•  Experience setting up Capacity leveling , Resource Planning
•  Experience resolving resource overloading and Detailed scheduling of production lines
• Hands-on experience in designing, developing and implementing PPDS solutions. 
• Ability to configure APO PPDS
• Ability to prototype, test, and validate APO PPDS  scenarios and their integration the different SAP – ECC scenarios
