Job Description:

Minimum Skills & Experience:

• 7 years – Creating, maintaining and troubleshooting OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP routing protocols, as well as Layer 2 technologies such VLAN, STP, and Trucking. Change order and incident response.
• 7 years – Creating, maintaining and troubleshooting Cisco firewalls (PIX, FWSM, ASA). Complex internal fire walled environment protect systems. Change order and incident response
• 7 years – Supporting and working in Windows and Linux environments Network support systems are Linux based. Enterprise systems are Windows, AIX, and various Linux distributions.
• 2 years – Experience implementation compliance standards, such as FFIEC, PCI, HIPAA, NIST, NERC CIP, ETC. Following and creating operation processes with performance based evidence as outcome.
• 3 years – Managing control system networks supporting SCADA systems or other mission critical 24/7 operational systems.
• 4 years – Experience in environments with formal change management
• 4 years – Designing, evaluating and documenting network operational process improvements
• 5 years – Demonstrated success working collaboratively in a team environment.
• 3 years – Experience as a CCNP mentoring junior network administrators
• 5 years – Supporting large fiber network designs
• 3 years – Configuring and optimizing network monitoring and management systems
• 4 years – Protocol analysis
• 3 years – Support and troubleshooting MPLS, VRF, NATing
• 2 years – Working with Cisco VSS

 

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• CCNP or other Cisco certification
• Prior experience working with Electric Utilities
