Position : DataStage Developer with MMIS (Medicaid) experience

Location: South Dakota

Duration : 6+ months

EAD, GC or Citizens only 

 

Start Date: March 11^th.

 

Data Conversion Manager

1) Provide senior-level programmer/technical expertise to data conversion team

2) Lead effort to complete analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of data conversion scripts for the MMIS system

3) Serve as lead with customer in the identification and mapping of data sources from the legacy system source applications and databases to the target MMIS application/database

4) Track and monitor data conversion status and escalate risks and issues to project management team

5) Maintain data conversion schedule and processes

6) Coordinate with the Testing team for validation and testing of converted data

7) Coordinate with Deployment teams for deployment of converted data

 

Required Skills:

 

Primary Skills:

1) BS in Computer Science or related discipline

2) 8+ years full-time experience as a developer, senior developer, or data conversion manager

3) 5+ years experience with system development or data conversion programming

4) 5+ years in relational databases (Oracle/DB2/SQL Server)

5) 5+ years in using ETL tools (preferably IBM DataStage)

6) 3+ years experience in database design and/or modeling

7) Experience with large data conversion projects

8) Experience with processing health care claims and related data in an Oracle environment

9) Excellent communication and writing skills

10) Experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle processes
