Interview Mode: Telephonic DESCRIPTION: This position is for a highly motivated individual to work with data management and analysis. The Data Management Analyst/ Quality Assurance works closely with developers and project managers in the delivery of error-free data and information to clients. The ability to understand and analyze complex data is essential, as are strong communication and organization skills. This position will work extensively with data, ensuring that the product meets the company's data quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Understand full life cycle of data processing, from acquisition to integration to extraction Aggressively identify potential data quality issues Understand business and product needs Profile data; determine trends, patterns, inconsistencies; draw conclusions Pinpoint trouble spots in data and processes Work closely with cross-functional development teams to help establish and enforce data quality standards and documentation. Work on a consultative basis for new data sources and enhancement initiatives to help ensure consistency and implementation of best practices Prepare and analyze data presentations for both internal and external publication Fulfill ad hoc data analysis requests, devise and maintain various data mining studies and identify and implement improvements in QA processes as needed MUST-HAVE SKILLS: MINIMUM 5 years experience in data intensive applications Strong experience in analysis of data for quality, inconsistencies, patterns, etc Experience with SAS is a MUST Experience with Excel's complex features Experience with other data management tools besides SAS and Excel Very strong SQL coding experience NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS: Tableau
