JOB DESCRIPTION:
Must Have:
· 50% Agile
· 50% Television Distribution, Home Entertainment Distribution or Finance
· 3+ years' experience in an agile environment with preferred experience working in a scrum tool like Jira or Pivotal Tracker
· 3+ years' experience in the Entertainment Industry, preferably in Television
· Distribution, Home Entertainment Distribution or Finance
The Sr. Business Analyst will be dedicated to project work for Television Distribution IT and serves as a primary interface to the business users, with the guidance from either a senior business analyst or business relationship manager to assist the Application Development Management (ADM) teams in understanding the business processes, workflows, and information requirements of the users. The Business Analyst will primarily serve in the support of the current and future applications and the requirement analysis process. Providing consulting on reactive, proactive and enhancement support services, as well as testing services to one or many applications.
Responsibilities include the following:
• Collect, review, analyze, manage, system and user requirements from business users into user stories
• Document detailed functional & data business requirements, process flows, use cases, & information needs
• Work with the Dev team to clarify functional requirements
• Primary liaison to QA team, create test scenarios and perform UAT
• Ensures that delivery of project requirements meets the requirements defined by the business customer
Qualifications and/or Experience Required
• 3+ years' experience in an agile environment with preferred experience working in a scrum tool like Jira or Pivotal Tracker
• 3+ years' experience in the Entertainment Industry, preferably in Television Distribution, Home Entertainment Distribution or Finance
• Strong Functional Specifications and User Requirements Skills a must
• Evidence of business acumen in order to communicate effectively with business and IT in day-to-day operations and delivery of IT services
• Knowledge of cross functional understanding of core line of business processes and value chain services (i.e. Title & Rights, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Distribution, Finance) a plus
