Job Description:
The Salesforce Programmer/Analyst will be responsible for working as part of a team to analyze, develop, test, and support Salesforce development initiatives to include Custom Objects, Apex Triggers, Salesforce API's, Custom Workflows, and Validation Rules.
Responsibilities:
• Assists in research and fact finding to develop or modify information systems
• Perform in depth analysis and research of large systems
• Write detailed and maintainable program specifications for large programs, objects or systems to be used by others
• Write new highly complex programs, objects or systems from detailed specifications
• Facilitate technical and user walkthroughs of information systems
• Provide time estimates for projects to be performed by self or others
• Provide on-call support for moderate to critical system issues
• Lead medium or large projects including cross-functional interaction
• Interface frequently with business partners concerning their needs
• Work closely with Architects to solution systems (overall architecture, interface design, data model, etc.)
• Use established design patterns in design and development. Help teach out and share these design constructs with fellow team members.
• Lead code / design reviews for appropriate level of complexity.
Qualifications:
Salesforce.com Development:
• Strong working knowledge of Sales cloud
• Salesforce1 APIs, Salesforce1 Development Visualforce Mobile Development
• Lightning Experience, Lightning Components, the Lightning Design System, Lightning and Visualforce
• Custom Objects, Triggers, Wrapper classes, Scheduled/Batch classes, Test classes, Web Services, Custom Permissions, Translation workbench, and Debugging.
• Working knowledge of Workflow rules, Approval Processes and Validation Rules
Additional Development Skills:
• J2EE application full life cycle development experience including building and deploying to application servers
• Experience with development tools like Maven, Subversion, and Jenkins
• Experience with SQL, Hibernate, Web Services (REST and SOAP)
• Experience working with J2EE Technologies (JMS, EJB3, and JPA)
• Linux and MQ knowledge
• Experience with Oracle database platforms and writing complex queries using PL SQL.
• Working knowledge of tools like PL/SQL Developer.
