Position: Sr. Hadoop Developer

Location: San Jose CA

Duration: 6+ Months

ONLY NEEDED: USC AND GC

 Job Description:

·         Strong Hadoop – Spark and Scala (Mandatory)

·         Strong  Linux and Unix experience (Mandatory)

·         Experience with Hadoop set up and capacity planning experience

·         Architecture experience in Big Data

·         Experience with some building framework on Hadoop (Mandatory)

·         Very good understanding of Big Data eco system (Mandatory)

·         Experience with sizing and estimating large scale big data project (Mandatory)

 

Preferred Skills

·         Excellent one-on-one communication and presentation skills, able to convey technical information in a clear and unambiguous manner

·         Preferably HiveQL, Presto SQL or Spark SQL

·         Good to have Data Science knowledge

·         Good to have SQL knowledge

·         Good to have R knowledge

·         Experience working in a client deliver role in an on off-shore model.

·         Previous Consulting experience

·         Bachelor Degree

 

Skills/Qualifications:

·         BE, BTech, MCA, Worked on Hadoop Technologies, Strong Analytical and interpersonal skills with good written and verbal communication,Strong DWH knowledge.
