Sr. Java Developer w/ Vaadin Framework

Overview:
Client is working with one of the top automobile OEMs and their connected vehicle technologies and related partners. This role would be working in a highly technical and fast paced environment. Client is looking for Senior level experience and capabilities in JAVA development using Vaddin framework.
Skills & Experience:
· Must have 5 to 7+ years of experience in web applications development inclusive of:
o J2EE, Web Services, EJBs, XML, Web development
o Strong emphasis on UI and service development and must have Vaadin Framework experience and training
o Working with RAD or Eclipse
· Ability to debug and profile Java code, and performance tuning JVM
· Ability to understand data models, service definitions and strong data analysis and mapping skills
· Ability to review, analyze and refine use cases and other requirements artifacts provided by the business
· Exposure to and understanding of development & service design concepts, model-driven service development, caching, etc.
· Comprehensive IT analytical skills, strong problem analytical skills,
· Interact with the operations and QA teams for deployment of software version updates and, where appropriate, code promotion and production support
· Automotive Experience is desired
· Excellent team building, people and management skills.
· Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
· Must be self-starter, proactive and willing to learn and grow with the business.
· Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Must demonstrate a hands-on approach, attention to detail and results orientation.
